The intention behind the art piece for the Pitt Meadows Regional Airport is to protect and guide the aircrafts that take flight, and also the members that use this building on a daily basis. The flowers symbolize airplanes in the air, while the hummingbirds watches over the air planes to ensure everyone returns home safe to their friends and family.
